White Grizzly Adventures
Expert ability required: heliskiing vertical and terrain for snowcat prices! The only snowcat operation in BC to guarantee 100 000 vertical feet per week just like helicopter skiing operations. They also run each and everyday, not subject to weather conditions. Based in the snowcat skiing capital of North America, with primarily NE aspect, terrain varying from open to tightly treed areas, most often 30 to 45 degree slopes (some pitches less, some more). Only one group, so lots of fresh tracks day after day, week after week. The traditional style log lodge at Meadow Creek is accessed directly from Highway 31, 40 kilometres north of Kaslo. White Grizzly says: "Let White Grizzly Adventures enhance your winter experience with one or many days of deep powder snowcat skiing. We give you fresh tracks every run, every day. Your average run here is 900 metres (3000 vertical feet), and we frequently see 6 or 7 per day. You will get steep and treed runs, a few open areas for variety (if avalanche conditions permit), and the terrain is mostly NE aspect with almost no sun or wind effect so great conditions do not get altered. You can come by yourself, or with a small group. We accept up to 12 guests each day, and would love to have you join us! 1-800-843-5557 ~
